About the Journey

Life can feel unpredictable, and it is completely natural to feel anxious, unsettled, or out of balance.


This six-week journey offers a supportive space to explore how a sense of inner safety can be discovered — not by controlling life, but by meeting uncertainty with tenderness, presence and awareness.


We are living in times of change and unpredictability, and it is understandable that this can create tension, restlessness, or unease in the mind and body. Through gentle inquiry, reflection, and heart-centered connection, we will explore how uncertainty itself can become a doorway — a way to meet life directly and discover the steadiness, aliveness, and freedom that is already here.


As we explore our experience together, we may begin to discover that the deeper sense of safety we long for is not something the world can guarantee. Instead, it begins to reveal itself as something already present — the awareness that is constant, even as thoughts, emotions, and circumstances change.


Whether this is your first time exploring these themes, or you have already experienced moments of deeper awareness, this journey offers a supportive space to meet your experience just as it is.


It is for anyone navigating the uncertainty of life, and for those who feel drawn to explore presence and awakening in a grounded and human way.


Together we will gently explore how anxiety, tension, and uncertainty arise in the body and mind, and how, through awareness and connection, a deeper sense of openness, aliveness, and inner safety can reveal itself.



You Will Learn To:

  • Meet uncertainty and anxiety with awareness — noticing what arises in the body and mind without being overwhelmed.

  • Recognize the mind’s stories — seeing how thoughts and judgments create tension, and discovering the spacious presence that holds them.

  • Support yourself in challenging moments — simple embodied practices that help calm the nervous system and allow emotions to move naturally.

  • Reconnect with the heart and with others — sharing presence, compassion, and genuine human connection.

  • Live more fully and alively — discovering how joy, creativity, and openness can coexist with vulnerability and uncertainty.

  • Integrate awareness into daily life — learning how to meet everyday situations with presence, openness, and compassion.




The Six Gatherings


Week 1: Entering the Unknown


We begin by acknowledging the uncertainty of life and the many feelings it stirs in us. Anxiety, restlessness, confusion, or even numbness can arise when we face the unpredictability of the world. Rather than trying to escape these feelings, we explore what it means to pause and simply be present with what is here.


This first gathering creates a space of honesty and openness where uncertainty can be met with curiosity instead of avoidance.


Focus: Meeting uncertainty with awareness and discovering the openness that is already present.




Week 2: When Anxiety Arises


Uncertainty naturally activates the body and mind. In this session we explore how anxiety shows up within us and how the mind often reacts by trying to control, predict, or resist what is happening.


We look at the difference between natural alertness, which is part of our human intelligence, and habitual resistance, where the mind becomes caught in worry or tension.


Participants are introduced to simple ways of settling the nervous system when anxiety arises — gentle practices of breathing, sensing the body, and allowing emotions to move without suppression or overwhelm. These practices help cultivate a subtle sense of inner safety while staying present with whatever arises.


Focus: Recognising the difference between natural alertness and habitual resistance, and learning simple ways to meet anxiety with awareness.



Week 3: Untangling the Mind’s Stories


In the previous session we explored how anxiety can arise as a natural alertness in the body, and how it can become intensified through habitual resistance.


This week we look more closely at the stories the mind builds around uncertainty. Thoughts about what might happen, what could go wrong, or what we should do can quickly pull us into cycles of worry and tension.


Through gentle inquiry and awareness, we begin to notice these narratives as they arise and see how they shape our experience. As the mind’s stories are seen more clearly, we discover that there is also a space of awareness in which these thoughts appear and disappear — a space that is not caught in the same anxiety or urgency.


Focus: Observing thoughts as they arise and fall, while connecting with the space of awareness beyond them, cultivating clarity and ease even as uncertainty continues.



Week 4: Opening to the Heart


As we begin to soften the mind’s need to control and protect, the heart can naturally begin to open. Many of us long for a deeper sense of safety and belonging, yet modern life can often leave us feeling isolated or guarded.


In this gathering, we explore how authentic human connection can support a deeper sense of safety — not by fixing each other, but by simply meeting in presence, honesty, and compassion.


As the heart opens, it may also begin to reveal something deeper than the personal sense of self — the simple presence that we are, which is not separate from life or from one another. In recognising this, the boundaries we imagined between ourselves and others can begin to soften. What becomes clear is that the deeper safety we long for is not something created through circumstances, but something already here — the quiet ground of being itself.


Focus: Opening to the heart through presence and shared inquiry, allowing authentic connection with others while recognising the deeper safety of the presence that we are.



Week 5: Opening to Life As it is


As the sense of separation softens, life can begin to be experienced in a more direct and intimate way. Rather than standing apart from life and trying to control it, we begin to recognise that we are not separate from the unfolding of life itself.


In this gathering, we explore what it means to live more openly in the midst of uncertainty — allowing joy, tenderness, fear, and aliveness to move through without needing to push anything away.


From this deeper recognition of being part of life, rather than separate from it, a natural sense of connection and belonging can arise. Life is no longer something happening to “me,” but something we are inseparable from.


Focus: Exploring how the recognition of our shared being allows us to meet life more fully — with openness, curiosity, and a sense of participation in the whole of life.


Week 6: Living with Openness


As this journey comes to a close, we take time to reflect on what has been seen and felt along the way. Awakening is not about reaching a final destination, but about recognising what has always been here beneath the changing movements of life.


Uncertainty remains, and the human experience continues in all its complexity. Yet when we recognise the presence that we are, life can be met with greater openness, trust, and intimacy.


The safety we often search for in the world can never be permanent, because circumstances change and life is unpredictable. But the deeper presence that we are is already here, aware of every experience as it comes and goes. From this recognition, a fundamental sense of safety is known — one that does not depend on anything outside, yet holds us in the ups and the downs of our lives.


This final gathering is a space for integration, reflection, and honoring the connections formed along the way.


Focus: Living from presence and openness — resting in the inner safety that is always here.



Over these six weeks, we will explore uncertainty together — meeting anxiety, opening the heart, and discovering the deeper ground of awareness that remains present through it all.

Unmani speaks not from concepts, but from lived experience. She has witnessed how life’s uncertainty can stir anxiety, fear, and a sense of disconnection, and how these experiences can also become a doorway into presence, clarity, and heart-centered connection.

For over 20 years, she has been holding groups and individuals in this same tender space—supporting people to discover what is real, alive, and unshaken, even amidst life’s unpredictability. She does not offer a way to eliminate uncertainty or control life, but invites you to meet it openly, connect with your heart, and discover the freedom, compassion, and presence that are always here.

This 6-week journey begins on Sunday 19th April with the first session at 6pm (Portugal/UK time) and concludes on Sunday 24th May, with the final session at 6pm.

The price is per person and includes all sessions, recordings, and full participation in the journey.
